IMPACT Wrestling has and had some great champions in its 17 year history from Ron “The Truth” Killings to Brian Cage in the world championship picture. In the tag division we’ve had Beer Money and Now the North, the huge names of the X Division include AJ Styles to Jake Crist and not forgetting the superb Knockouts Champions from Gail Kim to Taya Valkyrie. All of whom have been and are great champions and will continue to be so until their reigns end, here’s a list of a few people I believe are future champions In IMPACT Wrestling.

X Division Champion:Willie Mack: Mack has only been in the company a short amount of time in fact come Bound for Glory it will be a year since his debut at that same show last year. He’s already shown a lot of potential and it’s clear he’s got a reign as an IMPACT champion in his sights and I believe a run as X Division Champion is in his near future. Trey Miguel: Since Joining IMPACT along with his fellow Rascalz Trey has proven himself as a future champion in the company and is already collecting titles on the road for AAW in Chicago and a few other promotions so I feel a run as X Division Champion, a title that made TNA/ IMPACT unique and easily recognisable isn’t too far out of his grasp.

Ace Austin: It’s clear this fairly new wrestler has a whole lot of potential as an arrogant heel champion, Given how he’s acted recently as well as having a fairly long undefeated run on TV as well as a couple of Live shows. It felt like they where setting up a feud with then X Division Champion Rich Swann but nothing really came of it however a run as Champion is a definite possibility in my opinion.

Knockouts champion: Tenille Dashwood: Formerly known as Emma in the WWE unfortunately never got to the top of WWE’s women’s Division and due to certain circumstances she was released from WWE which lead to her heading to ROH debuting as part of the Women of Honour tournament. But unfortunately in a tournament many people thought she was destined to win she is still yet to taste championship success in a major promotion. But with her recent announcement of signing with IMPACT WRESTLING I feel she’s destined to win the prestigious Knockouts Championship.

Kiera Hogan: The girl on fire has been on quite the fiery run as late and I’m sure this run is putting her on course to win the Knockouts championship. During her debut a few years back she defeated then KO champion laurel Van Ness in a Non title opportunity on IMPACT she was then awarded a 1on1 title opportunity the following week. She has also defeated the current champ Taya Valkyrie at Redemption a year or so before Valkyrie became Champion so it’s absolutely in her future.

Jordynne Grace: Thicc Mamma Pump has already had a couple of opportunities at Champion Taya Valkyrie for the Title at Rebellion and A Night You Can’t Mist but came up short on both occasions. However it’s clear there’s potential and other Independent companies see it too as Grace is the current Progress Women’s Champion, So promotions know how talented she is at such a young age it will happen only time will tell when.

WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: The Rascalz: As I mentioned earlier about Trey Miguel it’s clear the Rascalz are on course to be champions in IMPACT and the same goes for Dez & Wentz, Both guys are hard working and very talented. Should they win the titles I assume all 3 will defend them in Free bird style, however it’s clear to me they’re lining them up to be tag champions perhaps the next team to be champions as they have the next opportunity this week on IMPACT.

OVE: The Combination of Dave Crist & Mad Man Fulton are surely destined to be world Tag Team Champions so OVE can show everyone they’re destined to take over Everything. What with Jake being X Division Champion and the potential of Callihan being world champion I feel it’s time OVE are treated as IMPACT Wrestling’s NWO and giving Dave & Fulton a run as Tag Team Champions could be the best thing.

The Deaners: Cousin Jake and Cody Deaner are still fairly new to IMPACT however there is definite potential in this team to hold those tag team Championships. They’re currently locked in a feud with the Desi Hit Squad which for me personally is arguably DHS most interesting feud to date and that for me is because of the entertainment value the Deaners have as well their country strong Attitude a lengthy run as World Tag Team Champions is not out of the question for the pairing.

IMPACT WORLD CHAMPION: Tessa Blanchard: It seems to me and a few other fans I’ve spoken too that the 3rd generation star is going to be a future if not next World champion and it would not surprise me in the slightest as Blanchard has been one of the best acquisitions in IMPACT history so having her become the first women to hold the Company’s biggest prize is a certainty.

Moose: Mr IMPACT Wrestling has been one of the most loyal members of the Roster and as he pointed out all the former champions have left but he still remains and is definitely worthy of holding the top prize in IMPACT having only received one opportunity at Slammiversary 16 another opportunity is long overdue along with a lengthy run as Champion so IMPACT can prove to him that loyalty gets rewarded.

Sami Callihan: The Draw has proven to everyone that despite his questionable methods he’s definitely worthy of a run with the world championship and as I mentioned earlier this would be the perfect opportunity to pull the trigger properly on OVE taking over everything. He’s proven he can draw and proven he’s an IMPACT loyalist, IMPACT clearly trust him as he main events quite a lot of shows for them despite what Many may think of the Death machine he will be the world champion some day soon I feel.

So that was who I think are going to carry IMPACT into their next chapter and are destined to be champions. I may not know when or even if they will but I feel it’s going to happen and I’m excited for everything IMPACT has coming our way.
