WWE NXT UK Review by Ryan Cooper Bielby

Episode 49, June 26th

This episode of NXT UK begins with a singles match consisting of Mark Andrews going up against Joseph Connors. Nigel McGuinness is not on this show again as it’s at The Download Festival.

This match has many innovative moves from both wrestlers, however Mark Andrews managers to pick up the win over Connors.

Dave Mastif gets The Hunt to unite with him in a common goal to go after the faction of Gallus.

The NXT UK Tag Champions Grizzled Young Veterans appears essentially insult the people at attending at Download Festival.

A promo package promoting Piper Neven and Rhea Ripley recent interactions. Xia Brookside is in the next match against Killer Kelly in a interesting back and forth battle. Brookside picks up the win despite a slight distraction from Jinny and Jazzy Gabert.

The show continues with a match between Ligero and Noam Dar. Dar disrespectful towards Ligero throughout the match in Dar’s joking ways including grabbing Ligero’s mask!

During the previously mentioned match Kenny Williams brings out a chair to watch the match. It would appear Dar is distracted by Williams being at ringside. In my opinion it’s a amazing match. Kenny Williams refused to help Dar as Dar asked for Williams to give him his chair which caused Ligero to gain the upper hand and get the win.

We get a announcement that on the next episode of NXT UK we’ll get a NXT UK Tag Team Title match, which will be Moustache Mountain going against the champions Grizzled Young Veterans.

The main event begins which is Travis Banks going up against Walter for the WWE UK Championship. The match was very well received and hard hitting. While Travis Banks put up a fight Walter hit a powerbomb onto the apron then a second in the ring to retain the WWE UK Championship.
