Straight into the action with a Triple Threat Tag Team Match

Cheeseburger & Ryan Nova (Shinobi Shadow Squad) Vs Coast 2 Coast (LSG & Shaheem Ali) Vs The Bouncers (Beer City Bruiser & Brain Milonas)

Crowd all behind The Bouncers with the ‘Beer Beer Beer’ chant

A fast start got the crowd whipped up when LSG and Nova squared off, Nova was impressive, being one of the smallest men in the match, he wasn’t intimated.

But once Milonas and the Bruiser got in the ring it all changed for the other 2 teams especially when they decided to Avalanche all 4 other men in respective corners.

There was brief moments off offence from Coast 2 Coast and Cheeseburger & Nova, but in the end it was The Bouncers who got the winners share of the purse when they hit Closing Time on Nova.

Winners – The Bouncers in 7:28

A video promo aired to preview the upcoming ROH World Chapionship match between Matt Taven & Flip Gordon, with Flip being the Sea of Honor Winner which gave him that spot and this opportunity against Taven.

The match will take place on next week’s ROH TV 400TH episode, and no doubt will be a class match (or at least I hope so).

Kenny King then made his way to the ring (escorted by timekeeper Amy Rose) and cut a scathing promo about The Great Muta, Matt Taven & the ROH Championship and more notably Jay Lethal, saying once that he has had his ‘emergency’ eye surgery, his eyes will be locked on Lethal and he will force him to ‘ bend the knee’. (to be honest I can’t wait to see that match)

Up Next

ROH dojo graduate Flex Simmons Vs the returning Josh ’The Goods’ Woods

If I can call this a match, more a statement of intent, the Code of Honor handshake was the only pleasant thing poor Simmons experienced here because after that Woods just obliterated him in 37 seconds.

After hitting a body-shattering Spear, Woods executed a couple of Throws then defeated the rookie with the Seismic Toss (Firemans Carry into Thrusting Spinebuster).

Winner Josh ‘The Goods’ Woods in 37 seconds

Woods showed no emotion and was not getting paid by the hour.

Shortly after ROH backstage reporter Quinn McKay caught up with Woods and asked about what he had been doing before his return, he responded with “it’s not about what I’ve been doing, it’s about what I’ve just done” and that he is always ‘Down To Fight’.

Main Event Time

Bandido Vs Shane Taylor

This was a Contrast of styles – polar opposites in fact.

Luchador Vs Brawler

Speed Vs Strength

A massive reaction from the crowd for Bandido

Bandido offered the handshake before the start of the match – Taylor spat on it (classy as ever)

Bandido started off well surprising Taylor with the old ‘stick & move’ tactic, even catching him with a Suicide Dive and a Beautiful Spaceman Moonsault to the outside of the ring, but after that it was all Taylor and he brutalised Bandido, but for some reason he couldn’t put him away.

Bandido showed tremendous heart in this matchand absorbed some heavy offence- enough to beat most people and Taylor showed us all something new in his locker notably an End of Days (Ripcord Flatliner) and a Rope Hung Stunner that got Taylor near falls from both moves.

The end came when Bandido showed amazing strength to get Taylor up in a Fireman’s Carry position and hit a version of the X-Knee (looked like a GTS tonight) and an unbelievable 21Plex for the most unlikely victory.

Winner Bandido in 11:03 WHAT A MATCH

Taylor will be angry with himself with this defeat especially after the roll he has been on, but im’m not going to take anything away from Bandido he was amazing tonight, I see gold in this young man’s future , sooner rather than later.

Bully Ray tried to sneak attack Bandido but was foiled when Haskin and Williams came to back up their LifeBlood Brother.

Then from out of nowhere the Sons of Savagery (Bishop Khan & Malcolm Moses) attack LifeBlood with a series of devastating moves (Vader Bomb, Gut Check, Spear) & an Assisted DDT to Williams left the LifeBlood members laying, both Bully Ray and Taylor were both confused about where they came from.

The S.O.S have arrived and obviously have targeted LifeBlood, I can’t wait to see where this goes.

Show ends, Next week the 400th ROH TV episode, with the 6 Man Tag Team titles up for grabs as well as Flip Gordon Vs Matt Taven for the ROH World Heavyweight Championship, should be a great show.

Night 4 of War of the Worlds is next for me.

Happy reading everyone
