Hello everyone and welcome back to yet another 205 Live review. I’m sorry for missing out on last week’s review but I’ve been really under the pump recently and will be busy for many weeks to come (sadly). Anyways, this week’s 205 Live episode sees us take a trip to London where Humberto Carrillo, ‘Gentleman’ Jack Gallagher, James Drake & Mark Andrews face off in an opening fatal four way and Cruiserweight Champion, Tony Nese has an exhibition match against the Leeds Luchador, El Ligero (or maybe just Ligero? I haven’t been watching NXT UK). I don’t have much time to write this review so I apologise if it’s a little short but without further ado, let’s get right into this review.

Humberto Carrillo vs ‘Gentleman’ Jack Gallagher vs James Drake vs Mark Andrews

A very interesting combination of wrestlers, we see the high-flying yet dangerous newcomer Carrillo take on the technically great Gallagher as well as welcoming two of NXT UK’s best in one half of the NXT UK Tag Team Champions, James Drake as well as the highly athletic Mark Andrews. A very faced paced match with some brilliant spots throughout, this was really, really fun, brutal, high-flying affair with Carrillo eventually picking up the win (@10:05) after rolling up Gallagher to pick up the win. All men in the match looked fantastic and all showcased their abilities. After the match, Carrillo and Gallagher shook hands, signalling that their bad blood is (probably) over.

Tony Nese vs Ligero

In an incredibly interesting match up, the Cruiserweight Champion Tony Nese takes on the man who goes toe-to-toe with David Starr for ridiculous amounts of bookings over the past few years, Ligero. Tony Nese being the perfect hybrid athlete, fast, athletic, powerful and a brilliant physique whilst Ligero having massive heart and determination as well as some excellent high-flying prowess. These two put on a solid match and I was entertained throughout. As things looked up for Ligero and he went for the C4L, Nese counters with a buckle bomb and follows it up with a Running Nese to pick up the victory (@14:20). Nese is victorious and looks good but not before a vicious attack from Ariya Daivari with Daivari standing tall after a fantastic hammerlock lariat on the Cruiserweight Championship.
