Impact Uk recently announced on their Social media pages that IMPACT wrestling will be moving to Wednesday nights at 9pm here in the UK and I for one am extremely happy, with the move to AXS tv in the US & Canada it had a few fans worried that we would have to go back to how it was from 2012 onwards where we would have to desperately avoid social media in order to avoid spoilers from the recent episode. But thankfully this won’t be the case, yes we will have to wait 24 hours but that’s better than having to wait till Friday and at least the air time won’t keep being changed like it was on 5star because Anthem Sports & Entertainment own Fight Network.
I have to say this is a very clever move by IMPACT, by moving to Wednesdays fills the slot that is left behind by AEW and NXT given that neither air live in the UK on Wednesdays. Fight Network UK is available through Showcase TV at 9pm on Sky Channel 192 & Freesat 161. Fight Network UK has only been available from the 17th July 2018 but has been a big part of IMPACT Uk as they air old TNA PPVs and also air the recent Impact PPVs at a later date for free for those who were unavailable to watch it live.
I am really very happy with this news at the earlier start time of 9pm especially as whilst it was on 5star tv the air time was always different to what it was originally scheduled to be, I’m no longer sure what time it was originally supposed to air but that is no longer important thanks to IMPACT really thinking about all of their fans.
This week’s IMPACT will still air this Friday on 5star but will start airing on Fight Net UK as of the 30th of October. Thank you IMPACT Wrestling for showing that you do listen to your fans & I can’t wait to start watching on Fight Network UK.
Don’t forget Sky Channel 192, Freesat 161. Friday night Impact will air on 5star TV at 11:40pm Sky Channel 128.
