WWE NXT UK Review by Ryan Cooper Bielby Pro Wrestling Journal
Episode 53 & 54, July 24th & 31st
I’m back to bring you my summary of NXT UK and I’ll be doing a double article as I missed the previous one. Though it’ll more than likely be a summary it’ll be still be detailed where needed the most.
We start off with last weeks episode with Trent Seven saying he wishes to beat Walter in the main event and that he’s still here.
The opening match is Kenny Williams versus Noam Dar which going by previous encounters I expect people will want to watch this feud. The pair know each other very well and is stated by the commentary team. Move after move they keep up with each other. A interesting moment in the match for me is when Dar smacks Williams in the face. I personally hope one Dar or Williams get a good title match one day. Williams puts in a variety of high octane moves for awhile until Dar manages to ground Williams for a period of time. Noam Dar manages pick up the win by low blowing Williams and then hits Williams with a massive kick (with a distraction of Williams losing his shoe and Dar attempted to use it as a weapon)
The Grizzled Young Veterans essentially state no one can defeat them and management should look more for contenders. We get a reminder Kay Lee Ray will have a NXT UK Woman’s Championship match against Champion Toni Storm at the next NXT UK Takeover. The next match is a 6 Woman’s Tag match Jinny, Jazzy Gabert and Kay Lee Ray against Xia Brookside, Piper Neven and Toni Storm. I predict this match to certainly be interesting if nothing else. Xia and Kay Lee Ray start however Toni and Jinny get tagged in immediately, Jinny displays some offense until Piper and Gabert get tagged in. Jinny gets tagged in however turns out to be a bad mistake, Xia gets tagged in gets revenge on Jinny until Kay Lee Ray gets the

tag. The heel team have huge control in the match for the most part. Xia turns the tables however and gets the tag to Toni. Kay Lee Ray tags out to Jinny (displaying Kay Lee Ray wants nothing to do with Toni) the fight spills to the outside. Toni gets tagged out by Xia Brookside but Jinny and Jazzy manage to get the pin on Xia with underhanded tactics.
The main event should be very interesting as Trent Seven attempts to get the best of Walter. Will this be a fair fight or will Imperium get involved we will have to see. Trent Seven attacks Walter during Walters entrance been looking forward to this. Walter attempts to powerbomb Trent onto the apron but Trent reversed it. Once the match returns to the ring it gets even more physical truly entertaining. Trent refuses to give up certainly seems Walter has plenty of heat with the audience. Trent unleashes a mass amount of offensive moves.
No matter what Walter does Trent keeps on surviving, Trent performs a incredible Superplex but Walter performed a powerbomb on the apron and one in the ring then another in the ring. To no surprise the rest of Imperium come out to stand guard while Walter keeps attacking Trent but the referee eventually just stops the match.

The show kicks off with Johnny Saint and Sid Scala explaining its not long until August 31st NXT UK TakeOver Cardiff, Imperium decide to say management are powerless compared to them. Walter demands who is Contender is for a returning from injury Tyler Bate attacks all of Imperium and then it gets announced Tyler Bate will Face Walter for the WWE UK Championship at NXT UK TakeOver Cardiff.
The first match on this show is Mark Coffee and Wolfgang against Pretty Dangerous in a match I expect Gallus to win. With a very decisively won match Gallus, Gallus challenge the NXT Tag Champions. The main event will be Jordan Devlin vs Alexander Wolfe. Dave Mastif says he’s not difficult to find to Joe Coffee. Rhea Ripley against Dani Luna I assume Ripley will pick a win here, Rhea picks up a dominant victory.

The main event begins with Alexander Wolfe against Jordan Devlin. Devlin constantly keeps the fight to Wolfe even goes as far as to antagonize him by slapping him in the face. Wolfe keeps getting staggered but Devlin won’t be denied, tremendous effort by Devlin but Wolfe manages to be victorious.
