Oney Lorcan, Danny Burch, and Humberto Carrillo vs The Forgotten Sons
It’s been a while since we’ve seen the Forgotten Sons wrestle together as a trio. Ryker did another great job of looking crazy as the match quickly dissolved into chaos at the beginning. The Sons worked very well as a trio, taking advantage of quick tags in and out. Despite a valiant effort from Burch, Lorcan, and Carrillo, the Sons were too much. It was nice to see the Forgotten Sons wrestling together. With all that’s going on with tag teams on the main roster, I appreciate the tag teams on NXT even more.

Remorse? I don’t know her!
Cathy Kelley caught up with Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke, and Marina Shafir. Kelley suggested that Baszler retaliated against Io Shirai because Shirai has pinned her before and Baszler slapped the microphone out of her hand. This cocky side of Baszler is fantastic; it makes you wonder who will be enough to take the title off of her.

Keep my name out ya mouth!
Bianca Belair confronted Mia Yim during training. They got in each other’s faces while William Regal tried to diffuse the situation. Eventually Belair left and Yim went back to training. They’re going to have a match next week. This is a feud I’m really interested to see. Both women are very self-confident and have brash personalities and I think they would bring good promos as well.

Mansoor vs Dominik Dijakovic
Mansoor tried in this match, he really did. He had a lot of heart and a lot of grit, taking a lot of punishment but refusing to lay down as well as getting some creative offense. But Dijakovik was much bigger and stronger. He was able to easily throw Mansoor around the ring and the outside before the Feast Your Eyes maneuver sealed the deal.
Post-match, Velveteen Dream appeared on his couch. He sang an augmented version of the Star Spangled Banner. It was impressive to say the least! Dream continues to slay the promo game.
Winner: Dominik Dijakovic

Undisputed Summit
The boys had a little meeting backstage, talking about the upcoming match between Cole and Gargano. Cole said that Roderick Strong dropped the ball in his match against Johnny Gargano. This ticked off Strong and he walked off, with Bobby Fish going after him. My heart isn’t ready for the Undisputed Era to break up! I’m thinking it’ll be an even break up though, with Strong and Fish taking on Cole and Kyle O’Reilly. The tension is so high!

Kassius Ohno vs Kushida
Kushida’s theme song is a banger so we’ll start with that. The commentary were definitely hyping up and putting over Kushida’s various accomplishments. Ohno came across as a proper asshole, calling Kushida another shiny new toy and telling him he doesn’t belong here. However, Kushida was able to pull out a win with his hoverboard lock. He did get his nose busted up a little, but it seemed minor. This was a great debut match for Kushida as he didn’t just bowl over his opponent; we got to see actual offense. Here’s hoping they don’t drop the ball with him.
Winner: Kushida

Final Thoughts
This was a pretty good episode of NXT in my opinion. I’m guessing it was a little short as there were other things like Superstar Ink and Table For 3 interspersed. My favorite story of course is the drama in the Undisputed Era.
