Episode opens with two members of The Dynasty, namely Alexander Hammerstone and Richard Holliday respectively heading to the parking lot to find their car has been trashed as Holliday makes a call to their other Dynasty counterpart MJF (Maxwell Jacob Friedman) making him aware of what has happened as an angry Hammerstone looks on. This segment obviously leads into Fushion hosts Rich Bocchini and Jim Cornette hyping up the shows main event, a six man table match between the Dynasty and the feuding Hart Foundation with the hope that this will finally find a way of ending this feud.

Also announced is a four-way tournament that will culminate on June 1st as MLW introduce a new championship, the National Openweight title. I’m sure the next few weeks will bring more news on that addition

JORDAN OLIVER def. KOTTO BRAZIL

Oliver making his debut is a New York guy at the tender age of just 19 up against Brazil sporting an eye patch and returning to MLW after some time out after commentary tells us Brazil and Ricky Martinez had an altercation at some time outside a nightclub which resulted in the injury to Brazil’s eye! As Cornette continues to compare Brazil to an eighties wrestler by the name of Tyree Pride, Jordan spends most of the opening minutes being outpaced by Brazil, who considerably smaller than the debutant, certainly has the best of Jordan, a young cocky and scrappy wrestler who manages to outsmart Brazil at one point of the match by moving at the right time has Brazil lunges at him only to find the ringpost instead. Plenty of high offence from Brazil sees his advantage turn as Selina De La Renta, accompanied by Ricky Martinez make their way to the ring apron, hopefully to distract Brazil who is blinded by a roll up pin attempt and a stunner from Oliver who is then faced with a Cutter himself leading him to roll out of the ring as Brazil takes a couple of suicide dives at Oliver with his third attempt halted as Martinez grabs the leg leaving Brazil open to an excellent Cutter from Oliver from the top rope that has this match won! Good opener this, good storyline for Brazil as Oliver gains his maiden victory on his debut.

Next up is a skit of Robert ‘Avalanche’ Dreissker who announces that he is from the ‘WXW’ promotion and he is coming to MLW, and for one reason only, the world title. He tells ‘Filthy’ Tom Lawlor to be ready for a beating!

A backstage segment then shows two members of ‘Dynasty’ attacking Brian Pillman Jr as MJF and Holliday have the arm of Pillman sandwiched between two chairs! Will he make it to the main event?!

REY HORUS def. ACE AUSTIN

Another terrific match this with Horus and Austin really entertaining the fans with a match that went back and forth throughout with Austin more than keeping up with his Mexican opponent as the Atlantic City Native Austin took to controlling the match a little until he decided to play bad guy and attempt to remove the mask of Horus who desperately fought to keep his mask intact as boos echoed around the room as the fans announced their disproval has Cornette Commented how this was shameful for any Mexican wrestler to have his mask removed. A cut to the back as Pillman is shown struggling and the question of whether he will make the main event is still up in the air. Horus meanwhile rallies back into the match with an impressive corkscrew dive that rocks the crowd and leaves Austin looking a little spent for a while although he does find a second wind as he tussles with Horus on the top turnbuckle with the Mexican finally nailing an inverted top rope rolling hurricanrana securing the win.

Again, a really good match-up this, Austin looking a really impressive prospect with a really good skill-set against the seasoned Horus.

A small segment sees Low Ki wanting to speak to Selina De La Renta who was too busy to stop to talk! Mmmm

Next up hype for MLW’s upcoming tour in the summer and then a promo from current MLW World champion ‘Filthy Tom Lawlor’ who reminds the viewers that the last man to beat him was Jimmy Havoc who is now gone, done in MLW. He is still doing what he loves, defending his MLW title and accepts anyone who wants to challenge him as he is the baddest man on Earth and will do whatever it takes to hold onto his title so get used to seeing him as he will not be backing down from anybody. Tough words, however he makes the viewer believe that he cannot be stopped as Champion.

SIX-MAN TABLE MATCH

DYNASTY def. THE HART FOUNDATION

So Pillman no shows at the start of the match as we now, it seems have a handicap 3 on 2 match that no doubt favours the Dynasty trio, or so you would think as The Harts, Davey Boy Smith Jr and Teddy Hart take the initiative and start the offence as the unaware trio of Dynasty are really dominated from the off with Teddy Hart doing some ridiculous and what can only be described as some really sick shit! Teddy’s moonsault from the top rope onto the poor Dynasty boys really opens the offence for the Harts with Hammerstone and Holliday finding themselves on the receiving end of some crazy bumps as they are suplexed all over the concrete ringside floor. Teddy was phenomenal throughout this match, and that is not a word I use lightly! Ridiculous DDT’s and some great double teaming really putting the Harts over and it was only when Davey went to fetch a table that this match turned! This is when Dynasty showed their strength, three on one attacking poor Teddy Hart who had excelled from the start to a point that he had to use the guard rail to knock back in his dislocated shoulder! Dynasty slowed the match down to control the action until, as with all good handicap matches, Pillman, still showing the affects of his backstage mauling evened up the odds entering the match that saw, once again Teddy Hart producing some unreasonable Destroyer’s including all three Hart Foundation members nailing a Doomsday Destroyer on Hammerstone that blew the roof of the building until a Holliday low blow on Hart was followed by Hammerstone sending poor Pillman through the table and somehow Dynasty walk away victorious! Tremendous main event, Teddy Hart was on fire!

The final segment sees Selina De La Renta being asked about her one week role next episode as executive producer! Amongst the public execution of Pentagon, she also told the interviewer that she needs to learn Spanish or she will be fired.

This is my first review of the MLW Fushion show as I will now become the regular reviewer for PWJ. This was the best hour I have spent watching a television wrestling show in a long time. Usually I find it difficult to sit still for some shows, however I did not move for the whole duration. It is a shame that some other TV products cannot produce this kind of show, a terrific effort with some outstanding work from the MLW roster. I advise you to check out this show.
