North American Championship – Matt Riddle to defeat Velveteen Dream. For the record, I do not want this to happen as I’m not a fan of Riddle and I also worry what will happen to Dream if he gets called up.
NXT UK Championship – Walter to defeat Pete Dunne. Dunne to move to NXT in the US
NXT Championship – ADAM COLE BAYBAY!!!! The time to put that title on Gargano has been and gone and he has well and truly earned the call up that I hope is coming his way. I’m also expecting this to be the match of the weekend!

Matt Riddle vs Velveteen Dream (Champion) – NXT North American Championship
In what I think will kick off this TakeOver, the undefeated Matt Riddle takes on Velveteen Dream. This match should be great and I’m looking forward to it. I’m a little conflicted on this one. Whilst in my head I can envision Dream being victorious, Riddle would make a lot of sense from a storyline standpoint. Now, as will be mentioned in my predictions later, I believe there is a chance of Dream dropping the North American Title in order to go after the NXT Championship. I’m extremely unsure of this. Like really, really not sure about this. AHHH! Matt Riddle wins and becomes the new NXT North American Champion.
The War Raiders (Champions) vs Aleister Black & Ricochet – NXT Tag Team Championships In the tag championship match following the Dusty Rhodes Classic, we see the NXT Tag Team Champions, The War Raiders (Hanson & Rowe) taking on the Dusty Rhodes Classic winners, Ricochet & Aleister Black. I’m sure this will be a really good match and I’m somewhat happy with my prediction however, I wouldn’t be surprised if either team wins. I think the War Raiders will retain. On Raw, we found out that the Edgeheads are challenging the Revival at Mania. I think the Edgeheads will win at Mania and I believe that Black & Ricochet will win the titles off of them at the RAW after Mania.
Shayna Baszler (Champion) vs Bianca Belair vs Io Shirai vs Kairi Sane – NXT Women’s Championship This is a tough one to predict. Belair is really solid but I don’t think she’s ready to become champion. Io hasn’t really shown off her work yet in NXT. So, we’re down to former champ Kairi Sane and the current champion, Shayna Baszler. Out of all of these women, Baszler is definitely the most prepared to head to the main roster and she might even be added to Raw or SmackDown during the superstar shakeup or after Mania. I’m left with a tough decision here. Baszler retains. I think she’s going to the main roster with the women’s title to confront whoever wins the main event of Mania.
Pete Dunne (Champion) vs WALTER – NXT United Kingdom Championship Oh dear, don’t make me predict this. Winner… WALTER. Wishful thinking but I’m hoping that Ilja Dragunov will make his debut, and when the ref and WALTER are down, nail Dunne with a lariat and gift WALTER a win. It would be a huge debut for Dragunov and a huge shift in NXT UK as Dunne’s title reign is ended.
Johnny Gargano vs Adam Cole (2/3 Falls) – NXT Championship This match should be superb. It’s very unfortunate that Ciampa had to relinquish his title from injury in the best form of his career but anyways, who do I think is going to win? Adam Cole wins to become NXT Champion and the first Undisputed Era member to win NXT singles gold. I’m not sure why but I have a feeling. And personally, I’m not a fan of Gargano’s personality. The man has one and a half facial expressions and despite him being really solid in the ring, I’d love to see a some character development to win me over to the ‘Johnny Wrestling’ side.
